It’s a confusion, for a reason.

You know what’s funny? Whenever I crystallise my thoughts towards appreciating a thing, or a living thing. They tend to fly away. In record speed.

I now understand why.
Over the years, I’ve ingrained the habit of praying:

“Lord, if this is not for me.. if this isn’t the one. Take it away.”

And so He did. He always did. I just can laugh now about how life is all about patterns. Predictable.
The sooner you ask, the sooner you save yourself.

“What is meant for you will never miss you. What is missed is never meant for you.”

So, ask.
He answers… and he will not miss.. In my case, usually the next day or week.

But why?

Why pray to take away what seemed to be perfect?
Because – patterns. When something is too good to be true, it is usually not.
The heart is deceptive.

When something develops quickly, inorganically – something’s up.
And possibly a trauma response.

But it’s good. It’s really good. Sacrifice the short-term for the long-term.
Struggles are not just there to test you. Struggles are there to protect you. Confusion is the signal.
You are put in the test to eliminate, not fight for them.

Know thyself

Which leads… to the importance of knowing yourself, your identity and your values.
If you don’t know what your purpose is, someone else will give you a purpose.
Stand for something, and stand firm.

I’m happy that I am able to spot these faster now and asked God sooner than I did before.
I got back on track. In record speed.
