Oh, my brain. I have been having what they say as “brain fog” which makes it hard to think clearly and effectively.
How timely that this website was just launched yesterday! I am going to take this moment to maximise the momentum and the new “toy” syndrome I am feeling to push myself further.
What’s lovely is that no one really knows about this website, which makes it easier to share my thoughts publicly.
For the next 30 days, I will:
- Meditate for 10 mins.
- Avoid social media consumption. Only create.
.. and I will share my journey here 🙂
I’ve deleted IG + FB from my phone, and I can only access them via laptop to message necessary people.
Life Update
At the moment, I’ve been in Montreal, Quebec since April 2. It’s been about 9 months now I have left the Philippines. Wow, time flies.
I’ve just moved to a new neighborhood: Griffintown. A neighborhood full of young professionals & entrepreneurs.
There are plenty of BIXIs & cafes which I love. Downtown is just 10-min walk away.
I bike through the Old Port everyday on my way to dance class.
Just when I am already considering my next destination, I am starting to appreciate Montreal all the more. Biggest factor: Neighborhood. The more convenient and posh, the better.
Ahh the EU Vibe.
On April 8, I had the chance to witness a once-in-a lifetime event happening in the area ~ total solar eclipse . It was magnificent. SURREAL.
Was it part of my plans? Not exactly. I felt moving on from Toronto, and here I am.
Anyway, another thing I am grateful is that I am 5-min walk away from my favourite cafe + co-working space: Le Petit Dep.
Given this calm environment and convenient location, I am confident in my evolution over the next 30 days. I am ecstatic to focus solely on work, getting healthy, writing, Youtube..
and dancing 💃
Have I mentioned they have legit afro-dance classes here? It’s my #1 reason for extending my stay. I must learn French too ~ I might the only one who doesn’t speak it and I can’t follow along when they explain the steps in detail.
Yours,
Abie
