People ask me this all the time: “How do you actually do it? Like ~ the logistics. How does your life work?”
Fair question. From the outside, it looks like chaos. Bouncing between countries. No office. No boss. No fixed address. But behind the scenes, it's the most structured my life has ever been. Because it has to be. Without systems, freedom becomes a trap.
01The Illusion of Freedom
Here's what nobody tells you about working for yourself, from anywhere: freedom without structure is just anxiety with a nice view.
I learned this the hard way. The first few months of nomad life, I was “free” but paralysed. No routine. No boundaries. No system to tell me what to do when nobody was watching.
So I built one. Not a rigid schedule ~ a rhythm. A set of systems that run whether I'm motivated or not.
Because motivation is a tourist. It visits, takes a selfie, and leaves. Systems stay.
“Systems aren't sexy. But waking up in Madrid with no alarm and a full pipeline? That's sexy.”
02My Tool Stack
Everything I do runs through about 20 tools. Most are free. The expensive part isn't the software ~ it's the discipline to use it consistently.
Here's the full breakdown ~ income, operations, content, and life.
Every tool I use to run my entire life from a laptop. Tap a category.
Stripe
Payment processing for playbooks & services
ManyChat
DM automation across IG, Threads, WhatsApp
Calendly
Booking & scheduling for calls and clients
GHL
CRM, pipelines, and client management
Wise
Multi-currency account, invoicing
Most of this is free. The expensive part is the discipline to use it consistently.
03The Weekly Rhythm
I don't plan my days hour by hour. That breaks the moment you change time zones. Instead, I theme my days. Each day has a focus. Within that focus, I do what needs doing.
The rhythm isn't rigid. It's a current. Some weeks I swim faster. Some weeks I float. But I always know which direction I'm facing.
Not a rigid schedule. A rhythm. Some weeks it shifts. But this is the anchor.
04Systems Over Motivation
I don't wake up every day excited to work. Some days I'd rather explore the city. Some days I'm tired. Some days the WiFi is garbage and I want to throw my laptop off a balcony.
But the systems don't care how I feel. My DM automation runs while I sleep. My content calendar tells me what to post. My Friday review holds me accountable.
That's the real secret: I didn't build a life that requires constant hustle. I built one that runs on systems, so I can focus on living.
One laptop. Zero excuses.
This isn't a flex. It's a blueprint. And everything I listed here? You can set it up in a weekend.
The hard part isn't the tools. It's showing up every day and trusting the system you built.
