Okay, I just have to have this private for now just because ..you know.

Midway through my conversation with the salon owner, he asked me what I do for a living.
I said…

“I’m an app developer,” I replied casually.
“Interesting,” he said, intrigued.

He shared that he had always wanted to build an app but never followed through after inquiring three years ago.

“Well, lucky you found me then,” I said with a smirk.
He smiled. I could tell he knew I was right.

As he worked his magic, I shared insights about MVPs, scalability, and even offered a few suggestions. I could see him nodding, fully convinced by my pitch.

And that’s when it hit me.

What I do at work has been preparing me for this very moment. What I prayed for, God answered the next business day.

This could be it.

My mind opened, instantly. I realised I can actually do this. And you know what?
He wasn’t even the first person to approach me about building an app. The resort owner from Tulum, the real estate developer, the entrepreneur from San Diego… They all wanted to work with me after meeting me, but back then, I didn’t feel ready.

Opportunity after opportunity presented itself, yet I kept turning them down, thinking I wasn’t prepared. Thinking I needed to do it all myself.

But today?
Today, I feel stronger. Ready to say yes and figure it out later.

Daniel Priestley‘s words echoed in my mind:

Your role as an entrepreneur is to be the organizing force, not the labor.

Walking around with my fresh new hair, I felt that jolt of clarity. I know it’s doable. I know the process. I just don’t know yet how I’ll find the right team and refine my offer.

But whatever.

I have AI to guide me. I’ve been at my current work, an app development startup for 6 years, moving through different roles. What don’t I know?

This was an instant mindset shift. Maybe this is my calling. Maybe it’s finally time to start an agency and fulfill my long-time dream of being an entrepreneur.

I already have the knowledge.
Now, I just need to create the offer, close it, form the team, and execute.

Bam. Deliver. Repeat.

This could be the start of something new. The beginning of my entrepreneurial journey.

I see it now—I’ve always been in sales without realising it. I never took action to progress financially, but today, I understand how charm and connection can get people to say yes.

People like to work with people they like.

80% perception, 20% skills.

So, do it, Abie. This is your calling after all.
I remember one of my idols in Youtube, Kariza Santos:

Start now. Figure it out later.
