The Prayer that Saved Me

Faith · clarity · invisible protection

Whenever I appreciate something, it tends to disappear quickly.

01The Prayer

Over time, I developed a habit. Whenever something felt important ~ whenever I found myself holding on ~ I would pray:

“Lord, if this is not for me ~ if this isn't the one. Take it away.”

I have noticed that God consistently removes things the same way I requested them to be removed. Life operates predictably ~ and asking for clarity early saves time.

What is meant for you will never miss you.

What is missed is never meant for you.

02Why This Approach

Things that seem “too good to be true” often aren't. The heart is deceptive ~ and rapid, inorganic development signals potential trauma responses rather than genuine alignment.

Rather than fighting for things, I've learned that struggle itself serves a protective function. Confusion is not a problem to solve ~ it's a warning signal to respect.

03Know Thyself

Without understanding your own purpose and values, others will define them for you.

I am satisfied at recognising these patterns faster now ~ and recovering quickly when I miss them.

God's invisible protection.

The prayer isn't about giving up. It's about trusting that what belongs to you cannot be taken, and what doesn't belong to you shouldn't be held.

Ask for clarity early. It saves everything.
