I Found what I was Looking For

Church · community · checklist complete

It was steps away from my apartment. Visible through my window. I just hadn't looked up.

01The Church

A building housing both a Catholic and a Christian church ~ right in the centre of the city. Montreal's Centre-ville delivering again.

This is the value of city-centre living. Everything you need, within walking distance. The dance school, the cafes, the coworking spaces ~ and now this.

The place. The dance. The church. The people.

02The Community

Met Mary Lynne ~ a churchgoer who recommended Florence as a potential future city to consider living in. That kind of conversation only happens when you show up.

10:30am every Sunday. Locked in.

03Everything I Need

Wrapped the day with a Costco run ~ got a membership, stocked up. Everything I need for the next couple of months, sorted.

It sounds small. But there is something deeply satisfying about having your city, your community, your routines, and your pantry all aligned at once.

Checklist complete.

Dance school. Convenient location. A lovely apartment. Bike-friendly paths. Positive people. And now ~ a church and community. Montreal ticked every single box.

6 out of 6. I'm home.
